FSD staff must attempt to contact applicants screened for expedited service by phone to complete these interviews expeditiously. If staff is unable to reach the applicant, yet there is available proof of identity, and the household appears eligible for expedited benefits, staff will approve the application using expedited criteria. This attempted contact must be documented on the Eligibility Unit Member Role (EUMEMROL/FM3Z) screen.
