To receive an SNC payment the applicant must currently be eligible on all factors. If an applicant is ineligible on any factor, include the reason(s) on the Application or Reinvestigation Eligibility Statements and reject the application.
EXAMPLE: Ms. Jones applies for SNC on 08-09, the day she enters a Residential Care Facility. The eligibility specialist completes the eligibility determination and is ready to approve the application. However, before the approval is submitted, Ms. Jones notifies the eligibility specialist that she has returned to her own home. Since Ms. Jones is not currently eligible for SNC, reject her application.
