To be eligible for the Blind Pension program, a claimant must meet the following requirements:
- Non-receipt of Other Assistance
- Ineligibility for SSI
- Ineligibility for SAB
- Age
- Vision
- Correctional Treatment or Operation
- Residence
- Citizenship/Alien Status
- Good Moral Character
- Support From Sighted Spouse
- Soliciting Alms
- Total Property
- Transfer of Property
- Social Security Number (SSN)
