Based on RSMo 209.030, benefits are not payable to any claimant who “is an inmate of a public institution, except as a patient in a public medical institution”. This requirement is the same as the December 1973 Eligibility Requirement; refer to Section 1020.000.00 Institutional Residence (OAA, PTD, and AB).
