Annual Renewals
Annual renewals for BCCT cases are required once every 12 months. Annual renewals are completed to ensure the participant remains eligible for coverage. The annual renewal can be completed without an annual renewal form if the need for continued treatment is verified and other pertinent eligibility criteria are not in question.
Change in Circumstance
Participants may report changes at any time and changes may have an impact on eligibility. When one or more changes occur, evaluate the effect of the change(s) on the case and complete a new eligibility determination. Changes may include but are not limited to: marriage, address changes, or changes in income or resources.
If a participant is determined ineligible on any factor (either at the annual renewal or an interim contact), follow pre-closing/ex parte review procedures outlined in 1320.005.00 Pre-closing Ex Parte Review.
Note: Continuous Eligibility for Children (CEC) must be applied to eligible participants under the age of 19. Refer to section 1805.070.00 Continuous Eligibility for Children (CEC) in the MAGI Manual.
