Registered family home child care providers and their household members over 17 years old are required to complete a series of background screenings that include:
- Child Abuse/Neglect history;
- Criminal record history;
- Foster Care license revocation, and;
- Child care license revocation.
These requirements are defined in Revised Statues of Missouri (RSMO) 210.025 and the Code of State Regulations (CSR) 40-32.020.
