1225.040.05 TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE AND LOWEST INCOME HOUSEHOLDS

CD12-13, OEC12-02 January 30, 2012

If a family’s only income is Temporary Assistance, or, if the total gross household income falls below 25% of the State Median Income Level, the household is required to pay $1 annually to meet the sliding fee requirement.

The Child Care payment system automatically deducts the $1.00 sliding fee from the household’s first check.  The anniversary date of this payment is set by the system and deducts the $1.00 on an annual basis.  Although families in this category are only required to pay $1.00 annually to meet the sliding scale fee requirement, they may be required to pay a co-payment to the provider.
