0920.030.05 Levels of Care (MHK) – OBSOLETE

Children on MC+ cases are divided into four groups in the Legacy system identified by different levels of care on IMU5 in Field 13G. In the FAMIS system, they are divided into seven groups. The levels of care (LOC) are:

  • Legacy system LOC “Q”; FAMIS system “MC+100”, “MC+133” or “MC+185”: indicates eligibility for the Non-CHIP group; net income at or below 100% FPL for children ages 6 – 18, and net income at or below 133% FPL for children ages 1 – 5, or net income at or below 185% for children under age 1.
  • Legacy system LOC “1”; FAMIS system “CHIP0”: indicates eligibility for the No-Cost group; net income above 100% and gross income at or below 150% for children ages 6 – 18, and net income above 133% and gross income at or below 150% for children ages 1 – 5.
  • Legacy system LOC “2”; FAMIS system “CHIP73” or “CHIP74”: indicates an eligibility level for the Reduced Premium Group; gross income above 150%, and at or below 225% for children ages 1 – 18; or net income above 185%, and at or below 225% for children under age 1.
  • Legacy system LOC “3”; FAMIS system “CHIP75”: indicates an eligibility level for the Full Premium group; gross income above 225%, and below 300%.
