The requirement for adding an individual to a CHIP case is the same as for Family MO HealthNet (MAGI) non-CHIP programs. Refer to MAGI Manual section 1885.010.00 Adding a Person.
Note: Do not add non-CHIP eligible children who are in their Continuous Eligibility for Children (CEC) period to a CHIP level of care (LOC). Children can move from CHIP to non-CHIP during their CEC period and then must stay non-CHIP through the end of their CEC period. Refer to 1805.070.00 Continuous Eligibility for Children (CEC).
