Postpartum eligibility terminates on the last day of the month, 12 months after the pregnancy ends. Initially, this date is determined based on when the pregnancy is expected to end in the eligibility system. The postpartum eligibility end date may be incorrect once the child is born or the pregnancy ends. If Family Support Division (FSD) becomes aware of the birth or end of pregnancy prior to postpartum ending, corrections must be made to the pregnancy evidence to reflect the actual pregnancy end date.
