Applicants who meet expedited service criteria (see 1125.010.00 Expedited Service Criteria), must have completed their interview and have their identity verified before issuing expedited benefits. Expedited benefits are posted to the EBT card and made available to the household no later than seven calendar days following the date of application or the date of discovery.
Review the discovery date field to ensure the correct discovery date is entered prior to authorization. Offer all applicants denied expedited service a conference with an Eligibility Specialist (ES) Supervisor. The conference is held within two working days.
