When a change will decrease or terminate a household’s benefit, act on the change and follow advance notice of adverse action procedures if necessary (see 1140.025.05 Advance Notice of Adverse Action). See SNAP Manual section 1140.025.10.05 Exemptions to Notice of Adverse Action to determine when advance notice of the adverse action is not required.
