If the decision is favorable to FSD, and the original action was a:
- Denial – FSD takes no action to implement the Decision and Order.
- Reduction or discontinuance and benefits were continued – FSD takes action on the Decision and Order to reduce or discontinue benefits within 60 days of the hearing request, but not later than 10 calendar days after receiving the hearing decision. The FSD witness may need to complete a Claim Referral.
- Reduction, and benefits weren’t continued – FSD takes no action to implement the Decision and Order.
The FSD witness documents the hearing Decision and Order and action taken by entering comments in the electronic case record. Staff scans and indexes the hearing decision to the Virtual File Room.
