Non-MAGI MO HealthNet is the only program that requires applicants and participants to allow the electronic verification of their assets as a condition of eligibility.
The authorization language is included within the “Rights and Responsibilities” section of the MO HealthNet application and on the annual renewal form. The required authorization is obtained when a valid application for a government benefit is received.
The authorization remains valid until:
- FSD rejects the application
- Benefits are terminated; or
- FSD receives a written and signed revocation
If the authorization is revoked by an applicant or recipient, that individual is not eligible for Non-MAGI coverage per federal law.
