Individuals who have active MO HealthNet coverage, with the exception of state funded coverage such as Blind Pension and Uninsured Women’s Health Services, and become pregnant are eligible for continuous coverage at their current level of care through the end of the 12 month postpartum period. These individuals may choose to be moved to a pregnancy level of care but are not required to do so. Individuals with Non-MAGI Spend Down or Ticket to Work Health Assurance (TWHA) will have continuous coverage from the first time they meet their Spend Down or pay their premium, while pregnant, through the end of their 12 month postpartum period.
