The participant must have received Title XIX Medicaid in the month immediately preceding the month they are approved for 1619b status.
If the participant did not receive Title XIX Medicaid in the month immediately preceding attaining SSA 1619b status, the participant is not eligible for Title XIX Medicaid under 1619b criteria. Determine continued eligibility in accordance with the December 1973 eligibility factors.
