QMB-only recipients will not have MO HealthNet coverage for services not covered by Medicare. Not covered are:
- prescription drugs
- nursing facility services not certified by Medicare
- eyeglasses
- hearing aids
- dentures, and
- most dental services.
If staff cannot determine whether a service is covered under the QMB program, staff may call the MO HealthNet Division Provider Communications Unit at the following telephone number: 573-751-2896. This number is not to be given out to participants or to the public.
