Even though available, exclude the following income from the budget in determining need:

1. any gain or benefit not in the form of money payable directly to the household,
2. earnings of children,
3. supplementary assistance,
4. volunteer income,
5. loans or grants for undergraduate students,
6. specified Indian or Alaskan Native payments,
7. specified governmental payments,
8. wage supplementation wages,
9. specified other income,
10. payments from AmeriCorps Promise Fellow and AmeriCorps VISTA (AmeriCorps NCCC is budgeted as earned income),
11. portion of a veteran’s pension designated for Aid and Attendance,
12. benefits designated for a veteran’s dependent,
13. portion of a veteran’s pension paid for unusual medical expenses, and
14. VA homebound allowances.
