0950.010.05.10 Qualified Entity Responsibility When Children Are Not Found Presumptively Eligible – OBSOLETE

If the children are not eligible for Presumptive Eligibility, the qualified entity will:

  1. Provide the applicant with a copy of the determination (PC-1) including the reason the children are ineligible for Presumptive Eligibility.
  2. Advise the family that the MO HealthNet for Kids, Pregnant Women and Parents application (IM-1UA) they have completed will be forwarded to the FSD office for a formal determination of MO HealthNet eligibility. Inform the family that FSD will be contacting them for verification of income, citizenship/immigration status and health insurance information. Advise the family that when the children are determined to be eligible or ineligible for ongoing coverage, the family will be notified by FSD.
  3. Send the IM-1UA and the PC-1 to the local FSD county office the same or next day so it is received by FSD within five working days of the determination.
