This section describes provider compliance and how non-compliance affects initial or ongoing payments from DSS. Any provider not in compliance, in sections 1215.000.00 -1215.050.00, cannot be registered or contracted for payment. Children are not authorized until the provider is in compliance. Payments can not be made to providers that are not in compliance with DHSS regulations or DSS requirements.
License-Exempt facilities are classified as either family home or center, based on the number of children in care. DHSS, Section for Child Care Regulations determines the facility’s group or center status.
