To access Child Care Subsidy, each parent must demonstrate a valid need for child care. A valid need for Child Care Subsidy may be one or a combination of:
- employment;
- education;
- training;
- job search;
- incapacitation of a parent;
- child with a special need for child care; or
- homelessness.
