2030.075.00 CASE CLOSINGS

Child Care Subsidy cases with an agency or participant error closing may be cancel closed if the participant provides all missing information that caused the closing within 30 days of the date the closing action was completed.

  • Participant error closing is defined as a closing that occurred due to the direct action or inaction of the participant.
  • Agency error closing is defined as a closing that occurred after all necessary, requested information was provided by the participant. The agency failed to act promptly based on the verification received, causing the case to close in error.

Closing a Child Care Subsidy case automatically closes all individual child authorizations to the child care providers. If the Child Care Subsidy case closed in error, enter new authorizations for all eligible children, as the cancel closing action will not restore the current authorization.
