1230.040.00 CHANGE IN PROVIDER’S STATUS

This section describes the process for continuation of child care benefits when the provider’s status has changed.  A change in status includes a lapse in the provider license, contract or registration.  A change in status also includes a change in the provider’s facility type such as Family Home to Center.  A change in status effects the child authorizations, provider payments, and invoices.  In certain situations, a change in status will close the child authorizations.  Staff must reauthorize children to providers who have a change in status.
