In regard to amount of grant, RSMo 208.010 states, “The amount of benefits, when added to all other income, resources, support and maintenance, shall provide such persons with a reasonable subsistence compatible with decency and health in accordance with the standards developed by the Family Support Division.” RSMo 209.040 then establishes a maximum monthly cash grant that may not be exceeded, unless the nursing home maximums apply.
