0430.010.10 Reduction in Grant

When it is necessary to reduce a claimant’s grant, the following applies:

  1. Discuss the reduction in grant with the claimant:
  2. Notify the claimant in writing of the proposed reduction;
  3. After the hearing decision is made or the time period for requesting a hearing has elapsed, take the necessary steps to reduce the grant; and
  4. Notify the claimant in writing confirming the change in grant.
