Applications for SNC are to be processed without delay unless there are unusual or extreme circumstances. Complete the eligibility determination so that an applicant receives the first check or notice of denial of the application within:
- 45 days of the date of application, if using OAA eligibility criteria; or
- 90 days of the date of application, if using PTD or AB criteria.
Once eligibility is established, assistance is to be granted promptly and continues regularly until such time as eligibility is terminated.
