- If a Temporary Assistance (TA) participant does not use their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card in the State of Missouri for 60 days, they will receive a letter. This letter will advise them that failure to use their EBT card within the next 30 days in the State of Missouri will result in their TA cash benefit(s) being suspended and unavailable pending an investigation until their Missouri residence can be verified.
-
If the TA participant fails to utilize their EBT card to place a transaction within the State of Missouri by the end of a 90-day period, their TA cash benefit(s) will be suspended and unavailable to them.
-
An investigation will occur to determine if they remain a resident of Missouri. If the investigation determines they are no longer a resident of Missouri, the TA case will be closed.
-
TA participants will have the right to request a fair hearing if they believe the findings of the investigation are false.
