| CHANGE TO VERIFIED UPON RECEIPT DEFINITION |

| Effective immediately, the definition
of verified upon receipt included in memorandum IM-#76
dated April 18, 2001, is changed. Changes in household composition
and deductible expenses that are reported by earned income food stamp households
are not considered verified upon receipt.
Evaluate changes reported by the household to determine whether the total gross income exceeds 130% of poverty. If so, take appropriate action. If the change in circumstances causes an increase in benefits, act on the change. If benefits would decrease, do not take the action. |
