Effective September 1, 2001, food stamp
households are required to report a new source of earned income within
10 days of receiving the first check from the new source.
Households subject to the earned income reporting requirements are required to report the new source of income within 10 days of receiving the first check only when the new job raises the total gross income above 130% of the poverty level. The Food Stamp Manual is being revised to reflect this policy change. You will be advised when the update is complete. |
