FAMIS FLOWCHARTS
 
DISCUSSION:
The FAMIS Case Maintenance Flowchart and the Application Flowchart developed by the Staff Training Unit for use in the FAMIS Food Stamp training are available on the Intranet. The Case Maintenance Flowchart and Application Flowchart are designed to assist staff in the processes to follow when entering an application or updating an existing case in FAMIS.  To access these flowcharts, complete the following steps:
  • go to the Division of Family Services (DFS) Intranet site,
    • under the heading Income Maintenance, click on FAMIS Unit and the FAMIS page appears,
    • click on Case Maintenance Flowchart or Application Flowchart and the selected flowchart appears, 
                                                                      OR
    • under Tools, click on IM Charts and the IM Chart Information page appears,
    • click on the desired chart (Case Maintenance or Application Flowchart) and the selected flowchart appears.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
