TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE/CASE MANAGEMENT MANUAL REVISION #36:  MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff of updates to the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual.  Policy references to the Medical Assistance for Families and MC+ (MAF/MC+) have been removed.   Refer to the Family Healthcare Manual for policy on these programs.  Other changes that have been made are:
  • Title XIX Benefits section has been removed.
  • Prior Quarter section has been removed.
  • Prior Quarter (Medicaid for Pregnant Women) has been removed.
  • October 1972 OASDI Increase Cases (PA-677 Cases) has been removed.
  • The Manual Report section in the Families Together program has been removed.
  • The Grandparents As Foster Parents section has been updated to include:
    • Administered by Income Maintenance,
    • SSI child eligible to be approved on a MAF/MC+ case as "T" level of care, and
    • Legal services has been added to the list of other benefits.
The revised pages are attached.
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
  • Destroy the old manual pages and file the revised manual pages in the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual.
