TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE/CASE MANAGEMENT MANUAL REVISION #37:
CHANGES TO THE RESOURCE SECTION
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff of updates to the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual.  Policy references to Medical Assistance for Families and MC+ (MAF/MC+) have been removed.   Refer to the Family Healthcare Manual for policy on these programs.  Other changes that have been made are:
  • Child Tax Credit (CTC) has been added to the list of excluded resources in the month of receipt and the month following receipt to 0205.005.30.10.
  • Financial need (and an explanation) has been added to 0205.050.10.10 Divorce/Joint Custody.
The revised pages are attached.
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
  • Destroy the old manual pages and file the revised manual pages in the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual.
