CONTRACTS FOR CASE MANAGEMENT
TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE/CASE MANAGEMENT MANUAL REVISION #39
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform staff that all contracts for case management expired June 30, 2002.

Caseload numbers in the 88xxx series should be closed out and no longer be used effective with this memorandum.  Any cases currently active in a Case Management Provider caseload should be transferred to a DFS Self-Sufficiency Case Manager.

References to Contracted Case Manager Providers have been removed from the Temporary Assistance/Case Management manual in attached manual pages.  Section 0285.005.05 - Contracted Case Management Referrals has been made obsolete.
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
  • Close out caseload numbers in the 88xxx series and discontinue the use of these caseloads effective with this memorandum.
  • Destroy the old manual pages and file the attached revised manual pages in the Temporary Assistance/Case Management Manual.
