DISCUSSION:
The PC Administrative Terminal User Manual is now available on the intranet.  The User Manual instructs staff on security, searching for information, canceling cards, and repayment of benefits.  To access the EBT manual:
  • From the DSS Intranet page, click on IM Policy Manual;
  • Click on General Info in the box at the top; 
  • Click on EBT manual; and
  • Scroll to the end of the EBT Manual (Appendix B).
Other ways to access the User Manual are as follows:
  • From the DSS Intranet page, click on Food Stamp Unit or Temporary Assistance Unit; and
  • Click on PC Administrative Terminal User Manual.
A hard copy of the EBT manual is not being sent to county office staff.  A new contract for EBT services is effective February 1, 2003, and the EBT manual will be revised at that time to reflect 
contract changes.  A hard copy of the EBT manual will be printed and distributed to county offices upon revision.
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Discuss this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
