FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL CHANGE FOR THE GRANDPARENTS AS FOSTER PARENTS PROGRAM
DISCUSSION:
Effective April 01, 2002 the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) increased.  Attached is the new 200% of FPL chart to be used when determining or re-determining eligibility for the Grandparents As Foster Parents (GAFP) program.
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with appropriate staff. 
  • Begin using the new FPL figures immediately.
