| For a number of years the Department has
encouraged our participants to use direct deposit to receive their Temporary
Assistance benefits. The Missouri Financial Institution Product Summary
has been an outstanding resource for assisting participants with locating
a financial institution that best meets their needs.
The State Treasurer's office has recently updated the information contained in the Summary, and it is available on their web site. Instructions for accessing the information online follows: From the Treasurer's web site (www.sto.state.mo.us), select the Banking Services icon on the right. From this screen select Missouri Financial Institution Product Summary icon in the center under the title. When the Summary title page appears, select the appropriate county from the pull-down menu in the center of the page. A listing of financial institutions for that county will appear. Those institutions with email addresses next to their name have links to the institution's home page, which can be accessed by clicking the address.
