memorandum IM-94 dated July 26, 2001, discussed new forms that have
been developed to inform participants of the amount of time they have received
Temporary Assistance.
This memorandum will discuss each letter in the IM-57 series and at what increment it will be mailed to a participant. Copies of the letters attached for staff to file in the Forms Manual. INFORMATIONAL/TIME LIMIT LETTERS This new series of letters will keep the participant informed of the months they have used on their lifetime limit. A copy is sent to the participant with a copy sent to the worker. The letters will also provide information on work activities, child care, child support, supportive services and services that may still be available to them after their cases close.
This letter focuses on work activity components and supportive services. This letter focuses on obtaining suitable childcare. This letter focuses on cooperation with the Division of Child Support Enforcement in order to receive cash child support. This letter focuses on supports that may remain available after the Temporary Assistance cash case closes as well as availability of case management and supportive service assistance in transitioning to work. This letter focuses on leaving Temporary Assistance cash. It repeats information listed in IM-57/54 about programs available from DFS once eligibility for Temporary Assistance cash has ended.
