FOOD STAMP PROGRAM FLYER
 
DISCUSSION:
Attached to this memorandum is a copy of a customer flyer introducing changes in the Food Stamp Program during the next year due to FAMIS.  This flyer will be included with the automated Notice of Expiration (NOE) sent to each household beginning August 2002.

A supply of the flyer is being sent to each county office.  Please place the flyer in areas of the county office where the public can view a copy.  Also place the flyer in stores, other agencies' offices, soup kitchens, Food Banks, etc. throughout the county, as well as grocery stores, drug stores, Community Action Agencies, and satellite offices.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with all appropriate staff.
  • Place the flyer in areas of the county where the public can view this information.
  • Place copies of the flyer in stores and businesses in the community.
