DISCUSSION:

The purpose of this memorandum is to outline the process to restore benefits not accessed (aged benefits) in the Temporary Assistance Program.

Temporary Assistance benefits are removed from the EBT account if the authorized benefit is not accessed for a period of three (3) months or longer. The term "aged" is used when this occurs.

The aged benefit can be made available for Temporary Assistance up to 5 years after initial authorization.

To have these "aged" Temporary Assistance benefits restored to the participant complete the attached form along with the IPAY screen and fax to Gail Zielonka at 573-526-5592. Each request to restore benefits must be listed by month and authorization. Four (4) months can be listed on each form.
