| Effective 9/22/2003, food stamp timely
reapplication due dates are not staggered. Any timely reapplications
registered on or after 9/22/2003 are due the last day of the last month
of the current certification. If the last day of the month falls
on a weekend or holiday, the due date is the first working day of the next
month. FAMIS displays the actual due date on the Application Request
screen (FM0G) and the Alert/Reminder List screen (FM7M). For example,
if the last working day of November 2003 is November 26, FAMIS displays
the due date as 12012003.
FAMIS rejects the application the night of the due date if outstanding verification is not provided and entered into FAMIS, as long as the controlled flow is completed. If the controlled flow is incomplete, or there is an ISD the system cannot take an automatic action. If the application is to be rejected due to a missed interview, the worker must complete a worker initiated rejection (WIRJ). Record a comment on the Eligibility Unit Member Role screen (FM3Z) when the IM-31 was sent to the EU and the date and time of the scheduled interview. Also record the date the IM-31M was sent. At the Action Authorization screen, record why the WIRJ action was taken. |
