| The EBT poster that displayed a picture
of the flag card and a schedule of benefit availability dates is revised.
This poster advised cardholders that they must call to activate the EBT
card. This no longer applies to new cards that are issued. Since
cardholders may have one of two valid card designs, the poster no longer
has a picture of the EBT card. It contains only information about
when food stamp and Temporary Assistance benefits are available.
The EBT contractor will supply retailers with the new posters. A small number of the revised posters are being sent to your office. Remove any old posters and replace them with the new posters in your office or other agencies as appropriate. If you need additional posters, contact Food Stamp Program and Policy. |
