| The Food Stamp Manual section discussing immigrant children eligibility is added. Qualified immigrant children, under age 18, are not required to meet another eligible status, such as residing in the United States five years. Any qualified immigrant child who is otherwise eligible may receive food stamp benefits regardless of the date of his/her entry into the United States. This policy was introduced in Memorandum IM-# 112, dated August 21, 2003. |
