MEMORANDUM
2004 Memorandums
IM-83      09/08/04
SUBJECT:
NEW FAMIS MODEL
DISCUSSION:
Programming is currently being done to implement the Temporary Assistance Program into FAMIS. On November 7, 2004, the new FAMIS model will be migrated to FAPC for the Child Care and Food Stamp Programs, for use by staff on November 8, 2004. The first Temporary Assistance pilot is scheduled for the weekend of November 13-14, 2004.

A series of memorandums will be issued periodically, from now until mid-October, discussing changes to FAMIS procedures, new FAMIS procedures, and changes to Food Stamp and Child Care Policy. A Guide to FAMIS changes chart is developed to list all the changes that will be addressed in the coming memorandums. The chart is on the Family Support Division Employee Intranet under the FAMIS Implementation Memos section and the IM Charts section. As the memorandum is issued for a specific topic, a link to the memorandum will be added to the chart. As a new topic is identified, the topic will be added to the chart.

Review these memorandums prior to the implementation of the new FAMIS model November 8, 2004.
