SUBJECT:

REVISED FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING MEDICAID SERVICES
(REFERENCE: IM-89 DATED 8/23/05)

DISCUSSION:

During the month of August, the Division of Medical Services sent a mailing to over 300,000 Medicaid recipients affected by the changes to Medicaid services covered effective August 28, 2005. Many recipients have follow-up questions regarding the notice and often will call their local office with these questions. The Division of Medical Services provided the attached “Frequently Asked Questions” document to aid Family Support Division staff in responding.
