SUBJECT: ABAWD REMINDER IN FAMIS
DISCUSSION:
Effective November 6, 2006, a reminder to “REVIEW NON-WORK MONTHS” is posted on the Alert/Reminder List (FM7M) screen in FAMIS for the counties listed below. This reminder appears for all EU members between the ages of 18-50 with work assessment codes 8, 12, 18, 21, 22, 24, 25, 30, 31, 32, and 34, that reside in a non-exempt/non-waived county.
Eligibility specialists should review each EU member's code on the Employment Assessment (FMMS) screen to ensure the code is correct. Enter the appropriate work requirement code and non-work months on the Training/Work Requirements (FMMR) screen, if applicable.
NOTE: FAMIS determines the need for the reminder from the employment assessment code entered on the Employment Assessment (FMMS) screen. Eligibility specialists should evaluate the EU member to determine if an exemption has been met or if there is an EU member under the age of 18 in the EU. Not all EU members with a reminder will need to have work requirement code or non-work months entered.
To view the reminder on the Alert/Reminder List (FM7M) screen, enter an “R” in the Alert/Reminder (A/R) field. Press enter. All reminders in FAMIS for that caseload will appear. To move forward press F8=FORWARD.
