QUARTERLY WAGE MATCH INCOME REPORTING CHANGE
DISCUSSION:
The Family Support Division receives earnings information, for adult recipients of all categories of Medicaid, from Employment Security via a quarterly wage match. Previously, the income for all adults on the case was added together and the total was then matched to gross earnings entered on IMU5 by the eligibility specialist. As a result of system changes implemented last fall which allow the system to capture income at the individual level as well as the case level, the information received from Employment Security will now be matched to the individual. If there is a discrepancy of more than $250 for the quarter, the eligibility specialist is notified via email. Continue to investigate income discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
