- NEW STYLE MISSOURI DRIVER LICENSES
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memo is to provide information from the Department of Revenue on changes to Missouri driver licenses and non-driver identifications that are being rolled out to license offices from December 2012 to April 2013. Please see the attached letter from the Missouri Department of Revenue and the brochure with samples to show the new look and security features of the driver licenses and non-driver identifications.
People are not required to replace their driver license until it expires, so old-format licenses remain valid. Individuals may begin presenting the temporary or new style licenses and identifications in December and those should be accepted as valid proof of identification.
