- UPDATE OF MISSOURI’S CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (MOCDD) FILE MAINTENANCE LOCATION
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide clarification and an update regarding the maintenance and file location of the Missouri’s Children with Developmental Disabilities (MOCDD) program cases.
As introduced in Income Maintenance Memorandum IM-97, dated November 07, 2013, all MOCDD applications are now processed by the Greene County Family Support Division (FSD) office and any currently open MOCDD cases were to be sent to Greene County for maintenance. The outcome of this instruction resulted in many cases, including MO HealthNet for the Disabled Child (MHDC), erroneously being sent to Greene County.
Effective immediately, prior to sending the file to Greene County FSD, the originating county is instructed to contact the Greene County FSD County Manager, Glenda Wiese, at Glenda.R.Wiese@dss.mo.gov to determine whether or not the case should be transferred to Greene County for maintenance. Staff should follow standard supervisory channels for this contact.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff
- Following appropriate supervisory channels, contact should be made with Greene County to determine the status and ongoing location of the case file.
