DISCUSSION:
Food Stamp Manual section 1105.035.15 Exemptions to Able Bodied Adults without Dependents Training/Work Requirement and Verification has been updated to exclude the following people from training/work requirements:
- A parent or household member responsible for the care of a dependent child under the age 18.
- A parent or household member responsible for the care of an incapacitated or disabled person
These are in addition to the other individual already outlined in policy who are excluded from training/work requirements.
NECESSARY ACTION:
- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
