DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this memorandum is to clarify Food Stamp policy regarding fees collected by qualified organizations acting as representative payees for RSDI and SSI recipients.
Fees collected by these qualified organizations are not considered income to the recipient for Food Stamp purposes and must be excluded.
IM-81 posted in 2006 is void effective immediately.

- Review this memorandum with appropriate staff.
